Nestled in the woods on a deep private lot,  this cozy family getaway  features knotty pine throughout and many hand crafted wood accents. A full kitchen with all modern appliances and plenty of room for family dining at the dining table and breakfast bar.  A large wrap around deck overlooks beautiful Lake Michigan for those beautiful sun rises and sun sets.

Sleeping arrangements consist of 2 bedrooms on the main level, each with a double bed, a spiral staircase leading to a great loft with another double bed to complete the sleeping accommodations. One full bathroom with shower stall only.

Amenities include complete kitchen supplies, color TV with VCR/DVD, (no cable/satellite) toaster, coffee maker, microwave, charcoal grill, outdoor lawn furniture  and a great fire pit (purchase your own wood) to roast Smores or marshmallows. 

Renters must supply their own towels. All other bedding provided. If you would like to supply your own, please advise and I will have mine removed.

Directions:  Located directly on a Lake Michigan Shoreline just 7  1/2 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge.  Take U.S. 2 west after crossing north on the Mackinac Bridge, follow to bottom of big hill and go past Lehto’s Pasties, turn left on Gros Cap Road and go several hundred feet. Second Driveway to the right.   Long drive into property.

The Cedar Sunset Cottage has shallow swimming, great for kids. Close to the Lake Michigan Sand Dunes, Mackinac Island Ferries, Mystery Spot, Deer Ranch and many other attractions.

All summer stays are preferably by the week
