Sand Dunes Cross Country Trails-located 10 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge just of U.S. #2 on the Brevort Lake Road (H-40).  Groomed and marked well, these trails  will challenge the best.  Easy loops for the beginner to hilly and challenging for the advanced.  Wildlife and Nature at it's best.  A log cabin warming hut awaits your finish. 

Silver Mountain Ski Area-St. Ignace-features family downhill skiing and tubing at affordable prices.  A seasons pass can be purchased for a very reasonable fee for an entire season of winter fun.  Open seven days a week, weather providing.  You can call the St. Ignace Recreation Department for

Located at the Silver Mountain Ski area (Robert Holle Recreation Area) just 6 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge, just off Highway #2 on Cheeseman Road.

Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob Ski Area-located just southwest of St. Ignace in northern lower Michigan on the Harbor Petoskey Road.  A 30 minute drive from the Mackinac Area.

Searchmont Ski Area-one of the local favorites and is located in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, approximately 1 1/2 hours from the Mackinac Area.  The steepest terrain in the area is awaits you.
