Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula is a
great place to put together a tour, whether by car or bike.
There are thousands of major and less populated areas to
discover. Maybe follow the new Great Waters Trail and
discover nature, history and the culture of many Upper
Peninsula communities. Consider an off season trip to
beat the crowds and enjoy a more laid back experience.
It can begin at the Bridge in
St. Ignace.
Check with a local Chamber of Commerce for
site specific maps that will identify attractions and points
of interest along these trails and points in
between.
The Nature Conservancy called our corner of
the Great Lakes "one of the last
great places on Earth."
