featuring the Native American "Pow Wow"



Where Lake Huron meets Lake Michigan at the Straits of
Mackinac is the location of the first annual Rendezvous. Learn and help
celebrate the history of this historic area. Featuring American Indians
dancers and singers, historian Timothy Kent (2007), French Traders, Voyagers,
Jesuits , native foods, wares, demonstrations and more. This celebration
headquarters will be at the Father Marquette National Memorial and New France
Discovery Center on U.S. #2. Other areas of the community including downtown St. Ignace
will have special events and activities. Call the Chamber of Commerce for a
complete agenda.
